at Target Michael

eyes forward as I stride

past Victoria’s Secret David

once-a-year sale

at the Gap

nothing in my size Michael

hunting at Foot Locker

for the perfect shoes

for mall walking David

just window shopping

at Nordstrom’s Michael

third hour at Macy’s

again she asks me

to hold her purse David
