clouds drift

from star to star—

ferry crossing Aubrie


a woman of the night

checks her reflection Barb


dusty attic—

a slice of moonlight

on the golf trophy Michael


nightshift clerk

stomps out a cigarette Aubrie


meteor shower—

I order room service

from the balcony Barb


the town jailer

calls it a night Michael
